Apple Pie Recipe
Apple Pie is one of my favorite cakes. Fresh apple taste combined with the fragrant smell of cinnamon powder always manages to pull my appetite. It tastes so delicious.

Pie Crust Ingredients

* 275 gr flour
* 175 gr butter
* 50 gr powdered or granulated sugar
* 2 eggs yolk
* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
* 25 ml extra light cream
* 25 ml of ice water (or young coconut water as substitute)

Filling Ingredients

* 6 apples, peeled, sliced according to taste
* 2 tablespoons flour
* 2 tablespoons cornstarch
* 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
* 150 gr sugar
* 100 gr raisins
* 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or orange water as a substitute)
* 2 tablespoons margarine
* 1 tablespoon of liquid milk
* 2 tablespoons oatmeal (or according to taste, if preferred)
* 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (if any)
* Yolk to spread on apple pie topping.

How to make the apple pie
  1. Stir all pie crust ingredients with a whisker or mixer, pour ice water or young coconut water gradually, until dough is dull. Set aside, while preparing the filling.
  2. Mix well all filling ingredients.
  3. Pour pie crust ingredients into greased heat-resistant dish.
  4. Roll out the pie crust dough into pan skin, forming a basin-like space to pour the filling.
  5. Add filling on pie crust dough.
  6. Decorate with raisins.
  7. Grease apple pie topping with egg yolk.
  8. Bake in oven at 325 Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes to 1 hour until topping turns golden brown.
  9. Lift from oven, and then chill.
